 Mo 3/22/21

920 am. 240pm. 905pm.

Up 8am: Partly cloudy and breezy with temps to mid 60's. Rain all day tomorrow.

Wrote up 'THE INNOCENT' by Ian McEwan for the blog.

Watched 'EXTRACTION' (Netflix). An Indian drug lord's son is kidnapped by a drug kingpin from Bangladesh. Tyler Rake is called in to rescue the kid and they get trapped in a city that's under full lockdown and all the bad guys and police are looking to kill them. A slightly better than average Action/Thriller; with Chris Hemsworth.

"You don't die from falling into a river, you die from staying submerged in it".

I made appointments for basement repair with Helitech, Woods Foundation Recovery, and Greentree. Then I wrote the Weekly Wrap and sent it.

245 pm: Oakmont, Country Club, Laurel, Park thru Wash. Park to Adams/Washington, dropped the disc at the box by Walgreens, Lawrence, Kenyon, and down to 940...TWO HOURS... Mp3... PAUL BUTTERFIELD, RICHARD THOMPSON, BELLE & SEBASTIAN.

Reading GORE VIDAL in living room

***The screen would not pop up the 'shutdown' command. I found that if you right click the start button it will allow you to 'shutdown'.  And then I learned that 'Foundation Recovery' is not 'Woods', but I kept that appointment and made an appointment with 'Woods'. Now I have four outfits on the case. I guess I'll give Acculevel a call when I get all the recommendations.

640 pm... In the tub with GORE VIDAL (and finished 'PERPETUAL WAR FOR PERPETUAL PEACE') and listening to OLIVER NELSON, CANNONBALL ADDERLY,  LESTER YOUNG.

Began the James Brown film 'GET ON UP' (Netflix). A fairly standard biopic of a very misunderstood character. He was not always a decent person, but he was always Mr. Dynamite; with Chadwick Boseman, Dan Aykroyd, Viola Davis, Craig Robinson, and Octavia Spencer.
