Su 3/21/21- First Time To Planet Fitness In A Year!

 Su 3/21/21

940 am. 915pm. 1055pm.

Up 8am: Mostly sunny, breezy with temps to mid 60's.

***I successfully downloaded Windows Updates/ March on the downstairs PC. It ran all night and this morning I did the 'Restart'. No problems except it takes an inordinate amount of time and I've never done one of these on 'Automatic' or when 'the computer is not in use'.

Watched 'BEAST' (Amazon Prime). I found this film and 'THE TWO FACES OF JANUARY' in my Kanopy queue that were on Amazon Prime. Set in contemporary time on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands (Guernsey). A young woman with a troubled past falls for a local 'bad boy'. A serial killer is active on the island and is her new boyfriend the murderer? A believable romance between two rather raw and unpolished individuals. Some fine acting by Jessie Buckley, Johnny Flynn, and Geraldine James.

***Began the Windows Updates on the living room PC and they successfully downloaded while I was on the treadmill.

Started 'YOU'VE BEEN TRUMPED TOO' (Amazon Prime). But watched it on the treadmill (1245 pm)... 4 1/2 Miles.. . When Donald Trump built a new golf course in Aberdeen, Scotland he promised 'greatness again', but all the people of Scotland got was empty promises. And one 90 year old woman had her water turned off. Trump enterprises admitted that they broke the pipe, but years later the water was still off. 10" remain (finished at Planet Fitness).

Did The Weekly Cleaning and then to 3 pm to Planet Fitness...30" Cross... 30" Recumbent Bike... 30" Cross... 30" Bike. 2 HOURS TOTAL.

Home to finish "THE INNOCENT" by Ian McEwan.

In the tub with 'PERPETUAL WAR FOR PERPETUAL PEACE'  by Gore Vidal and listening to DEERHUNTER, YEASAYER.

Watched '10 ITEMS OR LESS' (Amazon Prime). A kind of Vanity Project for Morgan Freeman. He plays an actor who is left in Carson, CA while scouting a potential film. While waiting for the driver to return, he meets an enchanting Spanish women and they go on an adventure to get her out of the supermarket and into an office job. Very strange and not that funny, but more wryly romantic. It's definitely not the Morgan Freeman that you'd expect and in the 'Trivia Section' it said that Freeman was trying to shed his 'gravitas' image.

And then I finished the last half hour of 'GLADIATOR' (Amazon Prime). Russell Crowe as the General/Slave/Gladiator/ Roman Hero. Actually I liked it way more than I thought I would.
