920 am. 915pm.
Up 730am: It rained last night and a chance of showers early this afternoon. Partly sunny with temps to mid 50's.
Watched 'DOWN IN THE VALLEY' (Kanopy). A strange tale of a romantic sociopath who falls for a troubled teenage girl. She lives in the San Fernando Valley of California with her father who is a prison guard and her shy younger brother. Harlan, the obsequious psycho, believes that he's a cowboy 'miscast' in the 21st century and his 'real' destiny is to ride off into the sunset with his girl...and her brother; with Edward Norton, Evan Rachel Wood, David Morse, Rory Culkin, and Bruce Dern. Some nice acting in an implausible story, but that was part of the charm.
1230pm: ON THE TREADMILL...4 1/2 Miles and watched 'THE GIANT BEAST THAT IS THE GLOBAL ECONOMY- Money Laundry'. (Amazon Prime) and more of THE CLOWN AND THE CANDYMAN.
Read more of '23 Seconds' and at 4pm biked THE LYNNHAVEN LOOP 3 Times~ 50 Mins.
520pm...ON THE TREADMILL... 2 Miles at slow 3.2 pace and watched an interview with Edward Norton on Larry King about MOTHERLESS BROOKLYN and some of HOW NEAL FEEL.
In the tub with '23 Seconds' and listening to JOHN COLTRANE ~'Giant Steps', and more Coltrane...
Watched the first two episodes of 'UNORTHODOX' (Netflix). "...religion as a joyless life sentence..." Heavy drama within the Ultra-Orthodox Hasidic enclave of Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Berlin, Germany. In the opening scene, she escapes from the religious community, travels to Germany, and we learn her back-story in flashbacks. This is a noteworthy series.
