I watched 'NICO, 1988' (Kanopy). An Art Film about the last two years of Nico's life. Trine Dyrholm delivers a heart-felt performance of the icy, blonde, bohemian artist who couldn't accept the fact that she will be remembered as only a minor footnote in popular music. Nico rants that she only wants to talk about 'her music', but everyone knows if it wasn't for Lou Reed and John Cale there would be no 'her music'. Basically the film is a 'warts and all' portrait of a difficult woman artist, but I liked it.
Then watched 'ROBOCOP' (Amazon Prime- it leaves Prime tomorrow). A Detroit detective is mowed down by a psychopathic crew, but is 're-assembled' as a Cop-Cyborg. And, just like 'JOHN WICK'..."Boy, did he get his revenge", but 'ROBOCOP' is not nearly as clever; with; with Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Ronny Cox, Kurtwood Smith, and Miguel Ferrer.. "He's like Dirty Harry with ball bearings".

Deliberating whether to watch 'THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY' or 'THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR (1968) because they both leave Prime tomorrow. I picked 'Mary'. The premise is that three desperate guys are in love with Mary. The film is chock full of gross out humor that is defiantly insensitive and the laughs are 100% low-brow; with Cameron Diaz, Matt Dillon, Ben Stiller, Chris Elliott, Lin Shaye, Jeffrey Tambor, Richard Jenkins, and Sarah Silverman.
***FUN FACT: When he was a young man Richard Jenkins worked as a truck driver for John C. Reilly's father and Jenkins first met John C. Reilly when Reilly was only four years old.
