Watched 'EAGLE EYE' (Amazon Prime). A massive supercomputer system shuts down the national defense and assumes command because it believes that America is under attack from within. The premise was great, but maybe a little too cartoonish and overwrought like a badly written graphic novel; with Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan, Rosario Dawson, Anthony Mackie, and Billy Bob Thornton. "Sometimes the very measures we put into place to safeguard our liberty become threats to liberty itself".

12 PM: PC is 'Off' and will read for a bit and then a walk outside.

550 pm... Did a little over a mile on the treadmill and watched THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE.

***Andrew from Taskmasters called about the drywall/waterproofing. He will schedule a visit early next week. 

In the tub with Harris and listening to BOOKER T. ~ 'Green Onions', SAM & DAVE, SLY & THE FAMILY STONE.

Watched Netflix disc 'AMERICAN ULTRA'.  A guy in a dead-end American town works at the local convenience store and learns that he's a 'sleeper-cell/super-agent'. Mayhem ensues;  with Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Topher Grace, Connie Britton, John Leguizamo, and Bill Pullman. "is a bloody valentine attached to a bomb. It’s violent, brash, inventive and horrific, and perhaps the most romantic film of the year..."American Ultra hopes to leave you both shell-shocked and blissfully stoned, but as perfect storm of aggressively repulsive choices, it’s a queasy bad trip worth avoiding at all costs." But I liked it, and it was similar to this morning's film, 'AMERICAN EAGLE', but tonight's feature was way wilder... A man is cowering in his kitchen because a man is shooting at him with an automatic rifle. He throws a skillet in the air and shots a handgun at it. The bullet ricochets off the skillet and goes through the chest of the guy that was shooting at him. 

Then a 'GETTING DOUG WITH HIGH' with ARI SHAFFIR.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
