Watched Netflix disc 'MINARI'. A Korean family moves to Arkansas to farm the land. It's a sweet and touching (and funny) portrait of an immigrant family. The local Christians are supportive, although one in particular is a nut (great acting job by Will Patton). "Try some of the mountain spring water. It's healthy"...Referring to a two liter bottle of Mountain Dew.  Brad Pitt: Executive Producer; Won 1 Oscar and 108 other wins & 212 nominations total.

Updated VLC Media Player. Seems like a lot of information was downloaded and I was able to 'open' from my download folder; security issues and better picture quality.

125pm: Walk to the Monroe PO to return the disc. Out Edwards, back MacArthur to Feldcamp, up the hill, Parkview, and down to 940...ONE HOUR AND 45 MINS... Mp3... ELVIS~BILL FRISELL. 

Home to read 'THE FERAL DETECTIVE' in the living room. 

6pm: ON THE TREADMILL... 2 MILES and watched WHITNEY CUMMINGS on J. R. E. 

In the tub with LETHAM and listening to BETT'S ALLMAN BROS LIVE, BELA FLECK & THE FLECKTONES. 

Still not dry downstairs, so upstairs and watched Netflix disc '55 STEPS'. Based on a true story about a female psychiatric patient who retains a lawyer and sues the medical establishment to have the right to refuse anti-psychotic medicine. Top-heavy with star talent, yet it just didn't click..."can’t elevate this material much above the flat, pat TV-movie earnestness it seems content to aim for"; with Helena Bonham Carter, Hilary Swank, and Jeffrey Tambor.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
