Watched 'BLACK HAWK DOWN' (Hoopla). The action-packed story of the failed raid on Mogadishu, Somalia. It might be 'war porn', but it also could be seen as a record of something so horrific that political diplomacy should never be allowed to fail; with Josh Hartnett, Ewan McGregor, Tom Sizemore, Sam Shepard, Ewen Bremmer ('Spud'- TRAINSPOTTING), Tom Hardy, William Fichtner, and Danny Hoch. Directed by Ridley Scott and from the book by Mark Bowden; screenplay- Ken Nolan. Won 2 Oscars and another 9 wins & 37 nominations.

1220pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for the walk. 

1pm: Parkview, Country Club, Laurel, Outer Park, Park, to Wash. Pk., Feldcamp, Monroe , stopped at The County Market for cans of cat food: $3.58/six cans. 'Do It Yourself ' register jammed., Monroe, Kenyon, and down to 940. JUST OVER 2 HOURS... Mp3 ELVIS COSTELLO ~ 'Oliver's Army',  SLOBBERBONE~ 'Barrel Chested'.

520pm:The Weekly Cleaning.

 615pm: In the tub and finished 'Manhattan Nocturne' by Colin Harrison and listening to NICK LOWE, NIRVANA. And began 'STEPS OF THE SUN' by Walter Tevis.

Watched 'THE BAD MOTHER' (Amazon Prime). A woman finds herself in a social media firestorm of   'Stay At Home Moms VS. Working Moms'. An Independent Canadian film that really only scratched the surface and it could have been so much better had it been all 'drama' or all 'comedy'. Sarah Kapoor wrote, starred, and directed the film. Nice try, but no cigar.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
