Watched 'COLLATERAL' (Amazon Prime).  Michael Mann directs and it's nowhere his best stuff. It concerns a hard-working Los Angeles cab driver  who is hijacked by a pathological contract killer and forced to help the assassin as he tracks and eliminates his targets; with Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Mark Ruffalo (Jason Statham is in the opening scene for about thirty seconds and Javier Bardem gets a 'ninety second' role as a mobster). Silly premise, yet mildly entertaining.

 Then began 'ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO' (Amazon Prime). A guy and a girl who have been friends since first grade decide to make a porn video to pay off their debts, but soon learn that they are much more than friends. From ReelViews: "...vintage Smith - profane humor that knows no boundaries and obeys no rules. What's most amazing about Smith's barrage of hard-R jokes isn't the range of subjects he covers, but how few of them "miss."; with Elizabeth Banks, Seth Rogen, Craig Robinson, Jason Mewes, and Traci Lords.

45" Cross. 45" Treadmill. 30" Bike. 30"Cross. 30" Treadmill: 3 HRS. TOTAL... Watched 'THE LAST DAYS' ~ On Netflix documentary about Hitler's Final Solution in Hungary, 1945. Nazis might lose the war, but they would not end their policy of  worldwide Jewish extermination. The local Jews in Hungary felt that they were extremely patriotic and it was unthinkable that the Germans would turn on them. Think again! Then more of an ARI SHAFFIR podcast. 

Reading 'TOMATO RED', The Weekly Cleaning, and in the tub with more 'RED' and listening to the BEATLES, FRUIT BAT'S, RICHARD THOMPSON~ 'Acoustic CLASSICS 2'.

Watched 'NAIL BOMBER:  Manhunt' (Netflix)....Stoned Change!?- Watched 'ICEBERG SLIM: Portrait of a Pimp' (Amazon Prime). Provocative black author was a pimp, and then a father with three daughters. His wife helped him develop the character of 'Iceberg' back in the late sixties.  His wife looked like she could handle a black pimp with one hand tied behind her back. She seems the essence of a 'ball buster' and every inch his equal.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
