825am. 1255pm. 305pm {a pinch}. 920pm.

Up 7am: Mostly sunny with temps to the upper 80's.

Watched Netflix disc 'GREENLAND'. A family drama set within an 'end of the world disaster' scenario. It wasn't the best of the genre, but well worth a look; with Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, Scott Glenn, and Hope Davis.

11am: Preparing to mow the lawn. I hope the people in the abandoned house are not visiting. They were there during last night's fireworks. And of course, they brought along at least one hound from hell. There was a truck in the driveway in front of their garage, but there didn't seem to be anyone in the house- No big dog, anyhow. I went ahead and mowed a big patch of their front lawn. Not my best work, but...

I was done with everything in just about an hour.

***I decided not to watch the end of 'ROGUE' because it would just be a waste of valuable screen time. So many movies, and so little time and no time whatsoever for the unworthy. 

Rested/Read 'PARABLE OF THE SOWER' and then watched the last two episodes of 'DIRTY JOHN' (Netflix). A great series and I've got to listen to the podcast. Apparently the real John Meehan was worse in real life than portrayed in the show.

***The guy in the abandoned house (Rick Rubin look alike) was out mowing his front lawn less than two hours after I finished! I wonder what the deal is? Didn't I do a good enough job? Is he now in residence?

315pm: Monroe PO... OUT Edwards and BACK, south to Feldcamp alley, Wash. Pk. at Park, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940, ALMOST TWO HRS... Mp3... LITTLE FEAT, JAMES BROWN, 91.9FM.

630pm: in the tub with BUTLER and listening to BILLY JOE SHAVER, MILES DAVIS, a JOEY DIAZ podcast. 

Watched episode 1 and 2 of  'BLACK SPACE' (Netflix). An American style school shooting in an Israeli high school, but in this case, it was done by students. But, who and why? Will watch more of this series. 

I finished 'PARABLE OF THE SOWER' by Octavia Butler before I went to sleep.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
