915am. 12pm. 155pm. 945pm.
Up 740am: Sunny, not as humid with temps to 90.
Watched 'PARANOIA' (Hoopla). An aggressively talented young man in the high-tech sector tries to outmaneuver a couple of 'Titans of Capitalism' and pulls the rug out from both of them. A little corny, but still enjoyable; with Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman, Amber Heard, and Harrison Ford... "Power is the juice. Get used to drinking it..."
Watched the final episode of 'DIRTY JOHN' (Netflix). This one ended without any details about 'the real case'. It said that it was based on 'true events', but where are the details?
115pm: PC is 'Off' and doing the Weekly Cleaning. 2pm: and it's off to Planet Fitness. 45" Cross. 45" Treadwell. 30" Bike. 30" Treadmill. 30" Cross. Watched 'AMY TAN: AN UNINTENTIONAL MEMOIR' (Netflix), and some SARAH SILVERMAN and ARI SHAFFIR.
7pm: In the tub with 'EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE' and listening to HUMBLE PIE, H. P. LOVECRAFT.
***I noticed that I'm still fucking with the Updates on the PC downstairs. Why is this such a fucking hassle? I fucking hate Windows. I am going to Apple if I can't get any relief from these fucking Updates. As I was leaving for the night, the Updates worked successfully.
Watched part of a YouTube video with Bill Kreutzmann and John Mayer before the film....The year of the pandemic.... A kind of quote from John Mayer: "The silver lining is that people's art is going to be a lot more powerful because they've had the last year to think."
Began 'MEAN MAN: THE STORY OF CHRIS HOLMES' (Amazon Prime). A profile of the lovable oaf who happened to be the lead guitarist of W.A.S.P. back in the 'Hair Metal Heydays of The 80's'. He claims that Blackie Lawless ripped him off, but I wonder what Lawless has to say on the matter. The doc made me realize the theatrical power of the band, KISS, but the concept of rock stars as comic characters was taken to a new level by W.A.S.P. And the reason I didn't care for them is that they (and all of the bands like them) were all 'flash' and little 'substance'.
