Th 6/10/21- 1st AC Use of Season

 Th 6/10/21

855am.  11am. 325pm. 845pm. 

Up 720am: Hot and muggy with temps to 90.

***At 9am Buddy threw up. I finished the gel-pen this morning and he only got about 3/4 of a dose. I hope it's not related to vomiting. I fed him again at 10am. He kept it down, and a little more at 11am. So far.....

I watched 'DANGEROUS EDGE: THE LIFE OF GRAHAM GREENE' (Hoopla). Greene said that he did not believe in Heaven or Hell, but he thought that Purgatory was more to his liking. He was always attracted to the dilemma of Faith and Unbelief. Near the end, he talked of his 'wavering Faith'...always questioning. This makes me want to see some of his movies and I know that I've recently seen 'THE POWER AND THE GLORY' on the shelves.

***1045am: Texted the contractor (Zane) about the first or second week of July and that he's got to see the room and draw up an estimate. 1115am: We arranged a meeting for tomorrow afternoon. He'll give me a time later.

Then I watched the next two episodes of season 2 'DIRTY JOHN' (Netflix). A crash course in gas lighting.

130pm: Will read for a while and then on the walk. As I turned off the machine I checked Updates and I needed to download. Yesterday I was up to date and I thought it was Patch Tuesday, not Wednesday. It took only ten minutes and everything seems OK.

***2pm: AC 'ON' First time this season

335pm: Parkview, Wash. Pk. Northside panhandle, Lowell, Outer Park, Laurel, Wiggins, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...TWO HOURS AND 10 MINS., 91.9FM.

Read for a bit and 620pm in the tub with HARRISON and listening to ALEJANDRO ESCOVEDO, BARKMARKET, BLUR. 

Watched the Netflix disc  'BEING FRANK' . A high school student discovers that his father has another family. This could have been so much better. It could have been a drama or a side-splitting comedy, but this film was just 'a mirthless farce'; with Jim Gaffigan, Anna Gunn (BREAKING BAD).

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. We 4/23/25- Gummy

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
