Up 730am: Sunny with temps to low 80's. Back to 116 Mbps upstairs although this doesn't rule out that it was the downstairs PC and not the Internet/Xfinity that caused the slowdown last night- Possible, but I doubt it.

Watched 'MANDY' (Hoopla).  Random violence engenders extreme retribution. Hazy and muddy photography enhances the dream-like quality, but makes it difficult to watch. Nifty Scenes: Cage chugs vodka in the bathroom...Dueling chainsaws- one is over twice as long...Cage swallows a dab of gray psychedelic and his mind explodes.           From 'The Playlist': "Through Cage, the film’s straightforward revenge plot becomes a King Crimson album played at half speed and twice normal volume; a bizarre and bloody outing with a strong heart beneath the surface." 

***1145am: Called Republic to find out the procedure to get rid of the recliner. Habitat does a free pickup, but I don't think the chair is worth recycling. Republic will do it for $23 and all I need to do is schedule a pickup.

While I was waiting on the phone, Republic picked up the first load of cassettes. The truck was nearly full and one of the stereo components sat on top of the heap after he dumped my big blue can....an end of an era... 

****Noon: Tracy at Helitech and got no answer, so I texted Adam. He suggested that I call Zane at Kyes Renovation and Zane said that he would call back and possibly be able to drop by and check out the room tomorrow. I texted Adam that I would call him when I heard from Zane. 

I watched episode 1 of 'DIRTY JOHN' (Netflix). A smooth talking sociopath homes in on a wealthy divorced mother of two adult daughters; with Connie Britton, Eric Bana, Juno Temple and Julia Garner. It's a well written series and boasts a great cast- Juno Temple AND Julia Garner- come on!

225pm: Planet Fitness. 45" Cross. 45" Treadmill. 30" Bike. 30"  Cross. 30" Treadmill. Watched the next two episodes of 'DIRTY JOHN'; Three Hours Total . 

***3 STOPS TO GET A 12 OF DIET SODA

1) Dollar Store due to 'fire damage'. 

2) No diet at the gas station across the street. 

3) Schnucks for a six dollar twelve pack of diet.  

630pm: In the tub with BUTLER and listening to COUNTING CROWS, and TIM DILLON on WHITNEY CUMMINGS podcast. 

Watched episode 1 of 'HITLER'S CIRCLE OF EVIL' (Netflix)...A Stoned Redirection: another episode and a half  of 'DIRTY JOHN' (Netflix). This is really a well done series. I wonder why my 'algorithm' didn't clue me to this one?

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
