1035 am. 1225 pm (a pinch). 330 pm (a tiny bud). 1010pm.
Up 630 am: Cool and rain predicted for most of the day- upper 70's.
Paid the cards.
Zane and one helper arrived just after 8 am. Today will be a 'light day' on the job and Zane says they will add another coat of 'mud' and let it dry. They finished by 915 am. The fans won't need to run all weekend. He also mentioned that he owns rental property in Petersburg. He owns the old high school and he has 18 units.
Watched videos and bonus features for 'PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN' (Netflix). The film is about the issue of 'sexual consent' and the point is that men who take advantage of women are not necessarily evil or even bad. Basically nice guys can act badly and not even be aware of the impact of their actions and this is the premise of the movie. The actors and the director's commentary was helpful and a YouTube video by 'Amanda The Jedi' was especially on point. After I watched her video, I subscribed to her posts. The film was directed by Emerald Fennell (THE CROWN) with Carey Mulligan, Bo Burnham, Alison Brie (GLOW), Laverne Cox (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK), Connie Britton (DIRTY JOHN), and Molly Shannon (SNL).
I watched 'FEAR STREET - I' (Netflix). I noticed this movie trilogy, but I only watched 45 minutes of it. A basic 'Teen Scream' film and I got it, but wanted something more, so I began 'SNIPER: LEGACY' (Netflix). (My legacy from watching the movie: "1,600 meters=.994 of a mile"). Watched an hour in the living room and continued on the treadmill.
145 pm: On the treadmill: 5 MILES AT 3.4 PACE... watched more of 'SNIPER: THE LEGACY', but it was a 'no go', and tried another Netflix series, but no good as well.
345 pm: County Market/Fairhills : $83.
Napped/read/snacked on the couch and 640 pm. on the treadmill and finished TIFFANY HADDISH on WHISKEY GINGER.
750 pm: In the tub with WOLFE and listening to 'LIVE AT THE COFFEE POT 1983'~ DICKEY BETTS AND FRIENDS ', BELZEBONG, listened to a YouTube video on EPICTETUS, and more stoner sludge.
I began the film very late- 1015 pm and started Netflix dis, 'ECHO BOOMERS'. "Emotions are more powerful than rational thoughts". Radical anarchists in a robbery crew target the very rich, steal anything of value and then trash what's left. An insurance man knows who's got what and leaks the info to the gang boss and he pays the guys. "When the system is corrupt, why play by the rules?"..."Never take 'no' for an answer and Experiences are better than bank statements"..."IF THEY WON'T LET US DREAM, WE WON'T LET THEM SLEEP"..."There is a fine line between a friend and an enemy"..."The best things in life are expensive"..."The most dangerous people are those with nothing to lose"..."EMOTIONS ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN THOUGHT", The 10th and final rule is that all of the previous rules are total bullshit...
