Up 725am: Sunny and hot with temps to 90 the next few days.

Began 'HOWARDS END' (Netflix), but within a minute I realized I was not in the mood, so I switched to 'THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES' (Netflix). Entertaining, beautifully shot and with some snappy civil war repartee (" There's a lot of 'sun' in Kansas~ Sun flowers, Sunshine, and sons of bitches");  with Clint Eastwood (dir.), Chief Dan George, Sondra Locke, and Sam Bottoms. 

I noticed that an 11% Fourth of July Sale ends today, so heading to Planet Fitness and then to the store.

1220pm: PC is 'Off'

1245pm. On the road to Planet Fitness and Beyond. 45" Cross. 45" Treadmill. 30" Bike.

Menard's : I bought 2 gallons of very dark gray paint, $700 black and white carpet squares, trim, drywall. A little over a grand. The carpet might  not arrive in time, but what can ya do? I still have to buy a door because I didn't have the dimensions (I thought they were all the same).  And I bought a fifty foot length of hose for twenty-two bucks...and a new kitchen mat for Buddy. 

640pm: In the tub with 'THE FINDER' and listening to ART BLAKELY, ARTHUR LEE & LOVE, and listening to THE MELVINS.

Watched the next two episodes of 'BOSCH' (Amazon Prime).

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 35 MINUTES; ORNETTE COLEMAN Playlist; began a J.R.E. with an English podcaster. 9am: Janny called and they will be here after their appointment with Dax at 10am.   Watched more of 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix)- The Belgian soap opera of 'all the beautiful people'. 1045am- 1235pm: She met one of her students who was a girl who is now a man. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
