We 7/28/21- Internet Outage/Mowed Lawn

 We 7/28/21- Internet Outage/Mowed Lawn

1010am. 105pm. 840pm.

Up 730am: More heat and humidity with temps to low 90's. A 'Heat Advisory' begins this afternoon at 1pm and it's going to be even hotter tomorrow.

***815am-9am: Mowed the lawn and watered the front flowers.

***Within ten minutes of smoking the bong, the Internet went out! I had just begun the film and was adding to the draft when the signal dropped off.  I was very high 😎and didn't want to waste calling, swearing, and fretting because invariably it's Xfinity's fault and not mine. So I decided to hit the park...and it was a truly magical experience 😇 in that it made me appreciate that I have only a limited number of these beautiful, hot summer days left, so get out and enjoy them....And when I returned from the walk, the Internet was miraculously restored! I don't even care what they say is the reason for the outage.

1035am: Parkview, Washing Park northside, Lowell south to Outer Park, across MacArthur and north on Wiggins, southside on the street, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...2 HOURS...Mp3 'HUMBLE PIE' - 'Rock On', IAN HUNTER- 'Rant'.

...And now I will watch  'BLOOD RED SKY'(Netflix). Terrorists hijack a plane and there happens to be a lady vampire on-board. Luckily I had no idea what this film was about and I thought that it was some kind of 'hostage/negotiation' genre film. And then it ramps up into a high intensity vampire flick that's really something different with an odd 'crazy love' between vampire mom and her son. A German film shot in Prague, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

410pm: PC is 'Off' and read/napped 'UNDER COVER OF DAYLIGHT.

630pm: In the tub with more JAMES W. HALL and listening to KEITH RICHARDS, MODERN ENGLISH, and an ARI SHAFFIR podcast with a young female comedian that he probably just hooked up with.

I began to watch 'ARMY OF ONE' (Amazon Prime)...will save this one for another time, and instead, watched 'THE LIMEY' (Amazon Prime). An old and tough English ex-con travels to Los Angeles to seek revenge for the death of his daughter.  The film is beautifully set in the Hollywood Hills of LA with a soundtrack  that drips with 60's California music, and a punchy yet not quite Neo-Noir script. I really liked this one! Directed by Steven Soderbergh; with Terence Stamp, Peter Fonda, Lesley Ann Warren, and Luis Guzman.
