9am. 1140am (a pinch). 205pm. 855pm. 

Up 720am: Sunny early with rain late this morning ending early this afternoon (never occurred) temps in the lower 80's for the next few days. Feels great!

Both machines are current with the Windows Updates. 

***There was a yard sale at the old lady's house up the street that is on the market. Lots and lots of cars until about noon.  On the walk I noticed that it was a 'tag estate' sale. Later in the day I noticed that Bob and Carol's daughter, who lives on Parkview, has got her house on the market. 

Watched 'THE USUAL SUSPECTS' (Amazon Prime). The devil's biggest success has been to promote the theory that he doesn't exist, but who is 'Keyser Soze'? Won 2 Oscars, 37 wins & 17 nominations; with Kevin Spacey, Gabriel Byrne, Chazz Paminteri, Stephen Baldwin, Benicio Del Toro, Kevin Pollak, and Pete Postlethwaite. Well worth a second look, although I agree with Roger Ebert in that he points out that 'the big reveal' is not all that much. I think most viewers would know that Kevin Spacey's character was behind the entire swindle for most of the movie. 

And then the last hour and a half of  'EPSTEIN'S SHADOW: GHISLAINE MAXWELL' (Peacock-tv).  Ghislaine Maxwell's trial begins in November, 2021. If this case is half as big as the media has made it, there should be buckets of sleaze involving Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and more celebrities and political figures than you can possibly imagine.  The fact that Robert Maxwell had connections to national intelligence services around the world is very disturbing because if this is true, then Ghislaine most likely knows about them too. The threat of blackmail threatens some of the world's most powerful figures.

150pm: Preparing for a long walk and it's been far too long...

***I had to put the phone in 'airplane ' mode. I must be burning through those data points. I think that when I leave the house, the phone goes into 'airplane mode'. 

215pm: Parkview, Oakmont, Country Club, Laurel, Outer Park, Lowell, west on South Grand alley, Washington Park, up the hill, Fairway, and up to 940...A LITTLE OVER 2 HOURS..Mp3...'Beggar's Banquet '- STONES, 91.9 FM.

Home to begin 'THE SUM OF US: WHAT RACISM COSTS ALL OF US'- by Heather McGhee. I put this on reserve last week at the library and downloaded it this morning to Kindle.

630pm: In the tub with MCGHEE and listening to THE EELS, THE ELECTRIC FLAG, EB (German 'Noise ' band).

Began episode 1 of 'YANKEE' (Netflix).  A mediocre Mexican series dealing with the cartels. 

Then I watched 'BLACK HAWK DOWN- THE UNTOLD STORY'. An hour documentary on Amazon Prime. October 3, 1993 Mogadishu, Somalia: Interviews with the task force that tried to save two downed helicopters in an urban war zone.
