915am.  950pm. 

Up 750am: More intense heat and humidity- low 90's with Heat Indexes in the triple digits.

***Lots of activity across the street at Bob and Carol's. The past two days they've rented a U-Haul rental van: $19.99. Moving lots of stuff 'out'- beds, tables, kids toys, a lot.  Two old guys with a pickup and a small flatbed joined the fray this morning.  I think the brouhaha might be tied to the daughter's house that's on the market on Parkview.    

Buddy turned up his nose at a new can of 'mixed grill'. He ate some of the 'crunchies' with no problem, but he's not right.

At 47% capacity the phone says it will be charged in under 2 hours. What was the problem before. I put it on 'airplane mode' to see if that would make it faster.

Watched Netflix disc 'JOHN ADAMS'.  The vaccine scene was an eye opener. Mrs. Adams agrees to the risk of inoculation for smallpox and the doctor has brought a man on a wagon who is clearly dying of the disease. The doctor lances a pustule and then makes a cut on Mrs. Adams's arm and rubs the infected knife into the wound. 

Buddy is better, but he still won't eat the 'Mixed Grill'. 

Noon: PC is 'Off' and will make a short hike to the Walgreens box to mail back the disc. 1210pm-1230pm.

230pm: On the treadmill...5 MILES AT 3.5 PACE...I watched the next episode of 'JOHN OF GOD ' (NETFLIX), then I finished a JOEY DIAZ podcast and began the 'SKEPTIC TANK' with TOM SEGURA talking with ARI SHAFFIR about Segura's album, 'THRILLED'.

Read and worry more about Buddy. He ate a little of a new can (Turkey,  not Mixed Grill), but he's not himself. 

6pm: On the treadmill...2 MILES AT 3.5 PACE...watched a YouTube video about JOHN ADAMS- Alien and Seditions Act. The truth is no defence if you speak out against the federal government.

655pm: In the tub with TURTLEDOVE and listening to THE DELTA SAINTS,  DELRAY WILSON.

Watched the next episode of 'INHUMAN RESOURCES' (Netflix). A wild 'Corporate Thriller' and only three more episodes. I think I'll binge watch them tomorrow morning.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
