Up 710am: The heat wave is here! Sunny and hot with temps to low 90's thru next Sunday. with Heat Indexes in triple digits.

***The new phone charger cord is not any faster than the old cord. Over 4 hours to charge at 57%. Not acceptable and I'll check Best Buy to see if they can tell me if a wireless charger will work faster. 

Watched 'DONKEY PUNCH' (Amazon Prime- leaving today). Three young women from Leeds are vacationing on Mallorca and meet some guys with a yacht. It starts out sexually provocative, but soon veers into the Splatter Film genre. 'Donkey Punch' refers to a fictional sex act in which the man is performing sex 'doggy style' and he punches the woman in the back of the neck and kills her. This occurs in the film, yet there are also stabbings, shootings, drownings, and even a lynching. Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa.

1045: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a shorter walk through Washington Park before it gets too hot. Just check the radar and it looks like some strong storms moving in after 3pm. Nothing really notable, but it did rain.   

1110am: Wash.Pk., southside, Woodland, panhandle north, up the hill,  Fairway, and up to 940....ONE HOUR AND 20 MINS... Shower, read 'THE GUNS OF THE SOUTH ' on the couch. 

530pm: 5 MILES AT 3.5 PACE...Watched ANDREW SANTINO on TOM SEGURO'S podcast and part of a JOEY DIAZ podcast.

710pm: In the tub with TURTLEDOVE and listening to MILES DAVIS.

Watched 'KILL CHAIN' (Amazon Prime). I had seen this one before, but tonight maybe I was a bit too high/tired to appreciate it. An American neo-noir action thriller shot in Columbia, South America about a single bloody night in a nefarious hotel in a very bad and desolate part of the city; Nicolas Cage.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
