Mo 8/30/21
920am. 1245pm. 940pm.
Up 710am: Cooler and partly cloudy with highs in the mid 80's and a possible shower later this afternoon.
Yesterday I charged the phone in 1 hour and 40 mins from a 23% charge. This morning I was at 68% as it would take less than an hour from the wall socket, but almost three hours on the USB port on the PC. I don't remember this charging difference between the PC and the wall socket on the old phone.
Watched 'SAS; Rise of the Black Swan' (Netflix). Somewhat silly, but mildly entertaining for a Political/Action/Thriller. The British prime minister paid a rogue security service (Black Swan) to destroy an entire Russian village so that a pipeline could be installed. When this information goes public his government is toast. And in a confusing chain of events, the bad guys hijack the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle that runs from Folkestone to Calais; with Sam Heughan, Ruby Rose, Hannah John-Kamen, Andy Serkis, and Tom Wilkinson. Filmed in Hungary. The film is also called 'SAS: Red Notice'...."The Special Air Service (SAS) is a special forces unit of the British Army. The SAS was founded in 1941 as a regiment, and later reconstituted as a corps in 1950. The unit specialises in a number of roles including counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, direct action and covert reconnaissance.". "Do what we say and you'll soon be home selling your stories to the papers. Be Famous, Not Dead"! The strange premise about Black Swans being as rare as Psychopaths was just laughable. The hero is a psycho yet he's tearing up by the end of the film.
1215pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk.
1250pm to 220pm: Parkview, Wash.Pk., Lealand, Walnut, Edwards, Lawrence, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 30 MINS... Mp3...WILCO- 'AM' and 'STAR WARS'.
Reading 'THE GUNS OF THE SOUTH ' on the couch.
620pm: On the treadmill...3 MILES AT 3.6 PACE...Finished TOM SAGURA on SKEPTIC TANK and began a JOEY DIAZ podcast.
635pm: In the tub with TURTLEDOVE and listening to THE DIRTY PROJECTORS.
Wrote a 'Weekly Wrap'.
Then I watched 'COUNT ME IN' (Netflix). Not just a bunch of guys playing drums, but a unique look at famous drummers and their musical, cultural, and social influences. Someone should have taken Keith Moon aside and told him that...."You can't party 30 hours a day, 28 days a week"
