Up 8am: Mostly sunny with temps just over 80.

Watched the Netflix disc 'COLLECTIVE'. In Bucharest, Romania 27 people were killed and 180 injured in a fire at a nightclub in 2015 and this incident uncovered massive corruption within the country's healthcare system. Operations were routinely performed in less than sterile conditions and it was found that disinfectants were diluted by almost 90% and all patients in the hospital were in danger of infection. Heads of political parties were running local hospitals, yet when the scandal was made public, the Social Democrats (who were behind the corruption) won a sweeping victory and Romanian healthcare was left unregulated. A really fantastic film of the 'Investigative Genre'. Nominated for 2 Oscars; 32 wins & 50 nominations.

1245pm: PC is 'Off' and debating whether I should visit the 'Tag Estate Sale' across the street before I return the Netflix disc downtown. I did visit the sale before the walk downtown and found most of the prices pretty 'retail'. I almost wish that I had known the woman that used to live there. Kind of sad that all of her possessions had price tags on them. 

***Postman delivered the new radio

135pm: Downtown Edwards and back Governor to mail the disc at the Monroe PO...ONE HOUR AND 20 MINS.

***SANGEAN WR-16SE 45th ANNIVERSARY AM/FM RADIO*** Hooked up the radio. Easy Peasy and the Bluetooth took off immediately. 

540pm: On the treadmill...2 MILES AT 3.5 PACE...Watched part of an episode of 'THE KILLER SPEAKS' (AMAZON PRIME).

***I put more tape on the dryer vent. I hope this holds. After doing the washing, it's still hanging in there. 

7pm: In the tub with 'THE SUM OF US' and 'TWEAK' and listening to THE ENGLISH BEAT, CLAPTON/ WINWOOD LIVE - Madison Square Garden.

Watched the first episode and sixteen minutes into the next  'MR. MERCEDES' (Peacock-tv).  A TV series (an 'AT & T original) starring Brenden Gleeson based on a novel by Stephen King. It's very 'worth a look' and has a superior soundtrack.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
