I watched 'BACKTRACK' (Amazon Prime- A.K.A 'CATCHFIRE). A young female artist witnesses a mob killing. The mob contracts a hitman to take her out, but he falls in love with her and they take off for the wild, wild west..."Passion's a hard thing to conceal"... I mis-heard this and thought he said 'Fashion is a hard thing to conceal'. I think that that is even funnier. Dennis Hopper is in a scene with Bob Dylan. Dylan has a chainsaw and is making an art piece and he says that what is needed is something massive- like concrete. Hopper's character says, 'Yeah, I used to be in concrete too. Concrete shoes'; with Dennis Hopper (also dir.), Jodie Foster, Dean Stockwell, Vincent Price, John Turturro, Fred Ward, and in very small roles- Catherine Keener, Charlie Sheen. Joe Pesci is great in 'full-on, snarling gangster mode'.  Filmed in Seattle, Washington, New Mexico, and Los Angeles. 

Finished the 'MR. MERCEDES' (Peacock-tv) from last night.  I just noticed that there are three seasons of this show. 

1pm: PC is 'Off' and will do the Weekly Cleaning and then the plan is to hit Planet Fitness and then on to Menard's to put a dent in the rebate check. 

2pm: To Planet Fitness...45" Cross. 45" Treadmill.  30" Bike.  30" Treadmill.  30" Cross...watched 'COLD CASE FILES (AMAZON PRIME) - Pleasanton, CA, 14 year old girl is stabbed over forty times and left to die near a culvert. And a JOEY DIAZ podcast, then some of ANDREW SANTINO. 

Nixed Menard's and just went up the hill to Dollar General for a brush for Buddy and two $1.00 candles for me. Pet brushes were 4 bucks and I got a 'people' brush for $1.00 and it works just dandy. .

6pm: In the tub with 'TWEAK ' and 'ALL OF US' and listening to ERIC DOLPHY,  SECRET CHIEFS 3 (mentioned in 'TWEAK'),  MR. BUNGLE.

Began 'THE WOLF OF WALL STREET' (IMDB-tv). Very funny and outrageous.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
