1005am.  820pm. 

Up 735am: Possible pop-up thunderstorms this morning and tonight, but very hot and humid- 90's. Heat Index numbers in the triple digits. Tomorrow the temps drop back to the low 80's.

I wrote up 'SHARKY'S MACHINE' by William Diehl for the blog and then down the 'Reddit Rabbit Hole'.

Watched 'THE LOSERS' (Netflix). An American Special Forces team is set up by the CIA and they exact their revenge. Because it was based on a comic book, maybe that's why it didn't try to take itself too seriously. Best scene in the movie is when Chris Evans's character sings along to 'Don't Stop Believing'- JOURNEY; with Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Holt McCallany, Columbus Short, and Jason Patric.

1245pm: On the treadmill... 5 MILES ON THE TREADMILL AT 3.5 PACE...Watched WHITNEY CUMMINGS podcast- actor ROB MCELHENNEY from 'SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA.

When I got off the treadmill the sky was black and the wind was howling. INTERNET DROPPED OFF 10 MINS. Torrential downpour 345pm. Looking at weather radar it looks way worse beginning around 6pm. Very bad.

×××Inexplicably, I got the speakers to connect via Bluetooth.!!!

620pm: On the treadmill...2 MILES AT 3.5 PACE...Listened to ARI SHAFFIR talk to a prostitute about her 'career'- 'Hobbyists' and 'Providers'. 

620pm: In the tub with: 'TWEAK' that I began this afternoon and listening to EDDIE HINTON, EDGAR WINTER'S WHITE TRASH BAND, EDDIE FLOYD.

***The worst of the storm front moved through by 630pm and the temps dropped so it lacked the ferocious intensity that seemed possible earlier this afternoon. It will rain most of the night, but no damaging storms.  The AC is 'Off' and windows are open. Temps in the low 80's during the day and cool nights for the next couple of days.  

***I ordered a SANGEAN WR-16SE , 45TH ANNIVERSARY AM/AM RADIO: $90.44, this will replace the ancient Boze in the living room. 

I watched the first episode and half of the second episode of 'EPSTEIN'S SHADOW: GHISLAINE MAXWELL (Peacock). Geh-Laine (Pronounce) must have had a weird childhood because Robert Maxwell makes Trump look like a saint. Both men are, at the very least, narcissists. Did Robert Maxwell commit suicide because he was afraid that he would get caught stealing a billion dollars from his employees' pension fund? Seems like a good enough reason to me.

I ran the downstairs PC all night to do the Windows Updates. Friday morning I did the upstairs computer before I watched the movie. Everything is up to date, but I really hate to do this every month.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
