Up 7am: Mostly sunny and humid with temps to the mid 90's and Heat Index in the triple digits.


735am: Phone was at 63% and it's in 'airplane mode', 'Off', and charging. 

Watched Netflix disc 'STARDUST'.  A Canadian film about David Bowie without any music by David Bowie.  The film is a shot as to how Bowie might have been feeling during the lull in his career before his stellar album, 'THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS'.  Marc Maron plays Bowie's manager and their interactions while on 'the American tour' was believable and real. I wonder what David Bowie would have thought of the film.  An Odd Fact: To 'keep the band together', Doug Yule pretended to be Lou Reed months after Lou Reed had left the band. Bowie learned of this and thought there really wasn't a whole lot of difference between being a rock star and pretending to be one.  There is a 'Schizoid Spectrum' similar to Autism.  I liked the film, but without his music or any part of the story that could be verified, it had a hollow ring to it; with Johnny Flynn, Marc Maron, and Jena Malone. 

1130am: PC is 'Off' and will drop the disc at the Walgreens box.  30 minute walk- Fairway, across Monroe,  Walgreens, Lawrence, Kenyon, down to 940.

***Up the street the neighbors are installing a privacy fence- white house that was power washed.

150pm: On the treadmill...5 MILES AT 3.5 PACE...Watched 'COLD CASE FILES ' (AMAZON PRIME), and ELEANOR KERRIGAN on SKEPTIC TANK.

330pm-4pm: I moved the bookshelf that was behind the treadmill to beside the washer. Things are coming together and I'll make a note to call Recycled Records and trade the cassette cases for cds.

More TURTLEDOVE on the couch. 

520pm: On the treadmill...2 MILES AT 3.5 PACE and more of ELEANOR KERRIGAN on SKEPTIC TANK. 

630pm: In the tub with 'GUNS OF THE SOUTH ' and listening to DEERHUNTER, DEER TICK, DEF LEPPARD.

Watched 'HOWARD'S MILL' (TUBI-tv).   A piece of land near Springfield, Tennessee is the site of many curious disappearances. Is this a documentary or a fictional story made to appear as a documentary? I liked the odd and creepy vibe and the movie will probably be a selection at many film festivals

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
