Up 745am: Another beautiful summer day. Sunny with temps to low 80's.

I threw out the books that I had stacked in the corner of the basement and I also parted with the ancient 'parson's table' to make the Wednesday trash pickup.

Scanned the selections on IMDB-TV and added them to my list.

Watched '13 HOURS- The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi' (IMDB-TV). Based on the attack on the two American diplomatic stations in Libya on September 11-12, 2012. Six Republican federal inquiries into this incident absolved Obama and the government of any dereliction of duty, but the smokescreen created by this false narrative (1. No Air Support;  2. Orders to Stand Down)  probably cost Hilary the White House; with John Krasinski and directed by Michael Bay.  

***145pm: I got a robocall from Ameren saying that they will be replacing my meter sometime in the next couple of weeks...Remember to have them re-hook the living room gas fireplace if they have to shut off the gas for a time. 

215pm: PC is 'Off' and will do some work downstairs and then head out for a long walk. 

415pm: Oakmont, Country Club, Laurel, Outer Park, Lowell, Wash. Pk.  up the hill to the north side, Fairway, and up to 940...JUST OVER 2 HOURS...Mp3...BYRDS, SUGAR, SCREAMING TREES. 

640pm: In the tub with DIEHL and listening to DEXTER GORDON,  DION- 'New York Is My Home, and part of a WHITNEY CUMMINGS podcast. 

Watched 'THE BITTER BUDDHA' (IMDB-TV). A profile of comic Eddie Pepitone..."The Angry Guy"...Odd to learn that this guy was a comedy partner with Marc Maron. Their styles are very similar.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
