Up 720am: Bright and sunny with temps to 80.

Watched 'DIAMOND MEN' (Amazon Prime). I saw this film at 'The Overlooked Film Festival' in Champaign many years ago. It leaves Amazon Prime in 8 days. A real crowd pleaser and an example of the finest in low-budget, Independent filmmaking. An older man finds respect and affection at a ramshackle Pennsylvania house of prostitution and the ending was a total surprise. He didn't get robbed, but he faked out the robbers, his horrible boss, and ended up with over a million dollars in uncut gems. And, he sails off into the Mexican sunset with the love of his life; with Robert Forster and Donnie Wahlberg. 

Watched the next two episodes of 'CRIME STORIES: India Detectives' (Netflix). (1) A guy is murdered and his mother and her family are convinced his wife did it. Not the case- The guy was blackmailing a couple and demanding sex from the wife. The couple had enough and killed him. (2) A prostitute is murdered because her client wouldn't use a condom.  

130pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk. 
205pm: Parkview, Country Club, Laurel, Outer Park, Douglas, Wash. Pk. northside, up the hill, Fairway, and up to 940...2 HOURS...Mp3...MOBY- '18', JOHN MELLENCAMP-  'Words and Music,  LUCINDA WILLIAMS- 'World Without Tears '.

On the couch and began reading 'Rabbit,  Run'- JOHN UPDIKE and 'John Adams'- DAVID MCCULLOUGH.

630pm: In the tub with both and listening to JOHN MARTYN- 'The Apprentice', ROY HARPER- 'Return of the Sophisticated Beggar'.

***JOHN MARTYN and ROY HARPER are truly 'overlooked' and I'll check them out on YouTube. 

Was going to watch the first episode of 'JAILBIRDS NEW ORLEANS' (Netflix), but settled on 'CALL ME BROTHER' (Tubi).  A brother and sister separated as toddlers reunite for a weekend in their teens and romantic sparks fly. A film that's bound to make you squirm and chuckle at the same time.  An 'Incest Comedy' that's bent and not in the slightest 'politically or socially correct'. I liked it. Filmed in Austin and Crockett, Texas.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
