Up 720am: Cool and partly sunny with temps to low 70's.

750am: I walked over to the PO box at Walgreens to mail back the disc; (25").

I wrote up 'RISING SUN' by Michael Crichton for the blog. 

Watched 'COLD WAR' (Amazon Prime). Set in 1950's Soviet bloc countries, a Polish 'cultural affairs' attache looks for local folk talent and finds the love of his life. Beautifully shot in black and white and examines a unique love story. Nominated for 3 Oscars- 46 wins & 119 nominations. Directed by Pawel Pawlinkowski.

I watched the first and part of the second episode of 'TURNING POINT: 9/11 AND THE WAR ON TERROR' (Netflix). I thought I'd heard, seen, or read everything about that event, but not even close. 

150pm: PC is 'Off' and tried to order checks but I have no idea what 'the account number' is.***I called Heartland and it is the entire 14 digit number. I could order at Heartland, but they begin at $25- only $11 at Amazon. 

2pm: Hit the treadmill...5 MILES AT 3.6 PACE.  I finished the TIFFANY HADDISH interview,  finished episode 2 of 'TURNING POINT:  9/11' and some of WHITNEY CUMMINGS- Trailer TRASH Tammy.

525pm: On the treadmill...2 MILES AT 3.6 PACE...Watched part of a WHISKEY GINGER  and more of DR. RHONDA PATRICK on J.R.E.

In the tub BRUCE and listening to THE BLACK KEYS, and some random Marc Maron podcasts. 

Watched 'SHOCK AND AWE' (Amazon Prime). Knight Ridder was an American media company that specialized in newspaper and internet publishing. This was America's only news source that reported correctly on Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld 'rush to war' in 2003 over the invasion of Iraq. The Weapons of Mass Destruction did not exist and they knew it from the get go; with Rob Reiner, Woody Harrelson, Tommy Lee Jones, James Marsden, Mila Jovovich, and Jessica Biel. Not a bad film, but kind of confusing for me since I watched so much today about 9/11.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
