1050am. 1pm (a pinch). 920pm. 

Up 720am: Mostly sunny and windy with temps only to 70. FIRST DAY OF FALL.

I didn't even turn on the PC and was reading 'INHERENT VICE' by Thomas Pynchon that I began last night.

At 945am I got a call from Linsey, the Aetna nurse practitioner, to tell me that she had an opening in her schedule and she arrived at 10am (the original appointment was scheduled between noon and 1pm.). Finished by 1030am. I'm in great shape and she took blood pressure and listened to my heart. The blood pressure reading was perfect and I was a bit apprehensive that I might register 'too low', but everything was ok.
She didn't know anything about insurance questions.

Watched 'THE DOORS- When You're Strange' (Amazon Prime). This didn't get very good reviews, and one critic dismissed the film as 'banal', but I thought the 'Lost Doors' footage was remarkable.  Morrison reffered to The Doors as 'Erotic Polititians'. From a Jim Morrison poem-  "Being drunk is a good disguise. I drink so I can talk to assholes. This includes me." Johnny Depp narrates..."You can't burn out if you weren't on fire."

***Buddy threw up around noon or 1pm. The first time in weeks and I'll keep a close eye on him. (930pm: He seems just fine and has had his usual voracious appetite all afternoon and evening.) 

Then I finished watching 'ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE' (Amazon Prime). According to the script, Eve (Tilda Swinto) is 2,000 years old, and was the Druid matriarch of a Celtic tribe. Adam (Tom Hiddleston) is 500 to 600 years old. This information wasn't included in the film, only in the script.

150pm: PC is 'Off' and will get on the treadmill. 
205pm: 5 MILES AT 3.6 PACE.  Finished ARI'S conversation with the 1st responder and TOM SEGURA on J.R.E. Began AMANDA KNOX on J.R.E.

Reading 'INHERENT RISK ' on the couch. 

6pm: On the treadmill...2 MILES AT 3.6 PACE and watched more of AMANDA KNOX on J.R.E.

In the tub with PYNCHON and listening to THE DOORS- 'Soft Parade', 1st WHO album, various podcasts. 

Watched the first episode of 'MONSTERS INSIDE: The 24 Faces of Billy Milligan' (Netflix). In 1977 a serial rapist was apprehended and indicted at Ohio State University at Columbus. The man might actually be suffering from multiple personalities. I can't wait to binge-watch this four hour series.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
