 We 9/29/21-Booster at Noon: Walgreens- DENIED

845am. 340pm (a pinch). 915pm. 

Up 710am: Mostly sunny with temps to 90.

Watched 'THE CREW' (Netflix- French title is 'BRAQUEURS' which means 'Robbers'). Not even 90 minutes, but really packs a wallop. A Parisian gang that specializes in armoured truck heists is coerced into robbing a few kilos of heroin from a rival mob. The first armoured car robbery is not even money, but a few thousand blank French passports that are worth 2,500 Euros a piece. It was so good I wish it was longer.

Began the first episode of 'THE CHESTNUT MAN' (Netflix).

1115am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for an 1130am walk to Walgreens for the noon booster shot appointment. They said that they were out of the vaccine. What was the purpose of registering if the fuckers were not holding my dose? 
I walked from Walgreens behind McD's and across to Washington and asked if CVS had a dose. NO! Up Washington,  Adams, Park south to Wash.Pk. and up the road on the south side,  Parkview,  Fairway,  and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 30 MINS.

I talked to Bob and they've completed the work on his roof and finished in less than 2 days.

I finished 'RABBIT, RUN' and began 'FLOATING CITY' by Eric Lustbader.

I noticed that the guy from the abandoned house (Rick Rubin look-a-like) was talking with Carol and later he was filling up their roofing dumpster with stuff from his garage. Maybe he's getting the property ready for sale and Carol is helping him? 

345pm: Watched 'OUT OF ORDER' (Amazon Prime). It's about a Hollywood husband and wife screenwriting team. She's suffering from mental illness and he's beginning to become sexually attracted to a neighborhood woman. A made for TV movie that's well written and the sex scenes are at the very least, 'Hard-R'.  The film has a quirky vibe and even borderline perverse... "I am guilty of only one thing, being human". A bit ham-fisted, but worth a look; with Eric Stoltz, Felicity Huffman, Kim Dickens, Justine Bateman, William H. Macy, and Peter Bogdanovich.

6pm: On The Treadmill...3 MILES AT 3.6 PACE and listening to JOEY DIAZ on HoneyDo. 

7pm: In the tub with 'FLOATING CITY 'and listening to 'ASTRAL WEEKS '- VAN MORRISON,  SIR DOUGLAS QUINTET,  and used my earwax removal kit.

Watched more of 'THE CHESTNUT MAN' (Netflix). Lots of suspense and hacked up women's bodies.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
