Up 8am: Overcast with temps to almost 60.

Watched 'THE FORGOTTEN BATTLE' (Netflix). Battle of Scheldt (Oct.-Nov.1944) was a series of allied missions by English and Polish forces headed by the Canadians. After the Normandy Invasion of June, 1944 the Allies needed a northern port city to launch the final push to end the war with Germany. However, Antwerp's harbor was flooded and heavily mined and a different method must be found for securing this important port city. The story is told through a few parallel, yet disparate story lines and a really superior film! The second most expensive Dutch film ever made. 'BLACK BOOK' was number one and another film that was set during WWII.

I've put 'BLACK BOOK' in the queue at Amazon Prime and I'll be viewing that soon.

1230pm: Preparing to mow (at least the back lawn) for the last time this season. Basically I want to run out the tank.

***Two 'Revenge' films in the box from Netflix today; 'Nobody'- Bob Odenkirk and 'Willy's Wonderland'- Nicolas Cage.  

Watched Netflix disc 'WILLY'S WONDERLAND'.  A mute janitor hired for the night fights off demonic animatronics in an abandoned amusement park.  When Nic Cage battles a green gorilla with a toilet plunger you realize that nothing is to be taken seriously. 

From "Deadline": " Tosta’s character Liv joins Cage’s character The Janitor in their bid to survive a hellish night trapped inside an abandoned family entertainment center populated by possessed animatronics..." and Cage has no dialogue in the film and 'Freebird' by Lynyrd Skynyrd is featured when The Janitor leaves Willy's and gets his car...and the girl (25 years his junior). 'Who',  'How', and 'Why' this goofy film was greenlighted would have made for a much more interesting story;  with Nicolas Cage, Emily Tosta, and Beth Grant.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
