Tu 10/26/21- Brewer at 220pm
940am. 1220pm (a pinch). 250pm. 920pm.

Up 740am: Bright and sunny with temps to about 60.

Added 'RABBIT REDUX' by John Updike to 'Books Read'.

Watched 'DUPLICITY' (Amazon Prime). A handsome MI6 agent and a sultry female CIA operative cut ties with their respective agencies and collaborate on a big score, but they're being played. A billionaire executive wants to shame a rival over a phony 'cure for baldness' formula and he's using 'the lovers' to put his plan into play.  Terrific dialogue and a dizzy plot makes me wonder why I'd never heard of this film. It's one of my 'Overlooked Films'.

Watched the first episode of 'THE RAINCOAT KILLER: Chasing A Predator In Korea' (Netflix). The first modern serial killer in South Korea is on the prowl in Seoul. Interesting Observation: Police in Seoul would only publicize cases that they had already solved. The unsolved cases were never spoken about and this did wonders for police approval ratings.

130pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for Buddy's visit at 220pm. Planet Fitness later

2pm-245pm: Buddy sure does hate his carrier case! I brought him into the office and waited about 5 mins. I'll be notified when the results are ready. Should have asked 'when!

3pm: Planet Fitness 45" Cross.  45" Treadmill.  30" Bike.  30" Treadmill. 30" Cross. Finished THE RAINCOAT KILLER series,  a SARAH SILVERMAN podcast, and began a 'HONEYDEW 'podcast.

7pm: In the tub with VIDAL and listening to a random BLUES ANTHOLOGY,  'Best of Both Worlds '- VAN HALEN,

***Learned how to access Voicemail.  Phone icon/ #1/#7 delete.  I learned that I had messages going back to July. I still can't believe that there is nothing to indicate that you have a message. You have to hit '1' and check. That's ridiculous.
However, Brewer left a message that Buddy is OK and they want to continue with the gel-pen. Great!

Watched 'MISHA AND THE WOLVES' (Netflix). A woman writes a memoir about her experiences during WWII. She claims that as a young Jewish girl she escaped from Auschwitz and lived with wolves. It's all not true and just a literary hoax. The book was a smash hit in France and Europe and a successful film was made based on the 'true' story.
