 We 10/13/21- Medicare Fraud!

1030am. 310pm (a pinch). 920pm. 

Up 810am: Cloudy with a chance of showers this afternoon and rain predicted for tonight. Temps to low 70's.

***I received a call from someone claiming to be from Medicare. They said they were sending me a new card and they were checking the information.  I gave them my Medicare number. When I hung up I went online and learned that this was a scam. I called Medicare....1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) and reported my fraud claim.
They will be sending me a new card and number. Should arrive in two weeks and the old number will be discontinued. However, I must call my doctor and the pharmacy at County Market to alert them of the change.  

***In my defense for stupid behavior is that I thought that the chats that I've had with insurance reps over the last few days might have sent the message to Medicare that I needed a new card. I now know that this line of reasoning does not bear up under close scrutiny, but they did have a lot of information about me. Of course, 'in olden times', all of that info was right in the phone book and nobody was threatened.

Watched 'WIND RIVER' (Netflix). A young Indian woman is found raped and frozen to death in a remote area of a Wyoming Indian reservation. She had run six miles after her and her boyfriend were attacked in his trailer. The FBI sends an inept female agent and the local Fish & Game warden is instrumental in solving the case; with Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, and Graham Greene. Set in the Wind River Indian Reservation, West Central Wyoming. Realistic and violent scenes of violence and rape gives this film an edge.

If you breathe heavily in extreme sub-zero temperatures your lungs can freeze, rupture, and then you will drown in your own blood. I'm sure that I've jogged in zero conditions, but I guess I was just lucky.

Before the end credits we're told that there are no statistics kept about missing Native American women. Information is kept on all other ethnic minorities, yet no one knows how many Native American women have gone missing.  

115pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing to walk on the treadmill. 

125pm: On the treadmill...5 MILES AT 3.5 PACE and 0.50 SLANT and watched the first two episodes of 'GANGLANDS ' (Netflix).

315pm: COUNTY MARKET. $88. No rain, so I decided to get it out of the way (after a couple of hits).

Read KELLERMAN on the couch. 

525pm: 2 MILES ON TREADMILL AT 3.5 PACE and 0.50 SLANT and began a 'Skeptic Tank ' with ARI SHAFFIR. 

615pm: In the tub with KELLERMAN and listening to BOB DYLAN AND THE BAND- 'The Basement Tapes ', THE MELVINS- ' Bases Loaded '.

When I booted up the downstairs PC requested a 'Restart'. Took about ten minutes, but things are back to normal.  

Watched a 'Skeptic Tank' (YouTube) where Ari and the two guys that went with him,  talk about their 'mushroom/camping' trip on the last day of summer in Washington State- September 22, 2021. 

Then I watched episode 3 of 'GANGLANDS' (Netflix). The French called it 'Braqueurs' which is French for 'Robbers'.
