We 10/20/21
920am. Noon (a pinch). 210pm. 9pm.
Up 735am: Partly sunny and breezy with temps to the upper 70's.
Watched 'VIRTUOSITY' (Amazon Prime). A ham-fisted blend of virtual reality and a 'police/action/adventure' film, but it's so over the top that it's more like a comic book than a screenplay. Some of the movie has a silly tone, almost like the Batman TV show; Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, Kelly Lynch, William Forsythe, William Fichtner, Louise Fletcher, and Traci Lords (as Media Zone Singer).

I finished the last hour or so of 'GLADIATOR' (Netflix). Lots of 'hammy' scenes, but they were well written and believable and far superior to the 60's films of this genre.
145pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk.
220pm: Parkview, Wash. Pk. northside, Lowell, Outer Park, Wiggins, Wash.Pk. southside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940. 2 HOURS...Mp3...BILL FRISELL-'The Sweetest Punch', BRAINIACS- 'Smack Bunny Baby', BOWIE- 'Lodger'.
Read UPDIKE on the couch.
620pm: In the tub with 'RABBIT REDUX' and listening to THE ZOMBIES, THE HOLLIES.
Watched 'THE PHANTOM' (Netflix). Two men are walking to a convenience store in a small town on the Tex/Mex border. They look very much alike and they were both named Carlos. One of them stabs and murders the female clerk, but the other guy is arrested and gets the chair. The police didn't do any investigation into who actually wielded the knife and they just pinned it on the man that they caught hiding under a car. The other man (the real killer) had killed before and even this didn't alert the police. It's hard to believe that this happened, but goes to show that if Hispanics were involved, the police in that area of Texas in 1983 provided a slipshod investigation or none at all.
