Fr 11/19/21- Appointment for Affordable Quality Lawn Care: Mo 11/29
Fr 11/19/21
9am. 1110am (a pinch). 835pm.
Up 740am: Mostly sunny with temps to mid 40's.
Watched 'THE LONG DUMB ROAD' (Netflix). A 'Buddy/Road' film that's a cut-above the usual saccharine sweet storylines of the genre. A kid driving west on his way to begin art school meets a quirky stranger who changes his life. The two lead characters were well written and the 'free thinking drifter' was right on the money. He might be suffering from bipolar disorder or just stubborn and immature; with Tony Revolori, Jason Mantzoukas, Taissa Farmiga, Grace Gummer (daughter of Meryl Streep and regular on 'MR. ROBOT'), Ron Livingston, and Pamela Reed.

Then the final episode of 'WHERE IS MARTA?' (Netflix). A crazy trial from Spain that rivals even the most ridiculous judgement from an American court. There were two different cases about the same event in which diametrically opposed scenarios were posited as fact. Obviously, anyone who was at the apartment on the night of the murder should have been prosecuted as co conspirators. "Once in a while, tell the truth so that people believe you when you lie"..."Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you are tired"..."God does not believe in our God"..."It's not how old you are, but how you are old"...- Jules Renard. Renard is the shit! He was an early 20th century French writer who easily matched any of the humourous insights offered by Ben Franklin or Mark Twain.

The Netflix disc that I reported 'unreceived' yesterday arrived today.
'TRIGGER POINT' (Netflix). A gritty 'B-Movie' about a special operative who broke under torture and revealed the identies of his team. They were murdered and he tries to find out who orchestrated the operation; with Barry Pepper, Colm Feore, Eve Harlow and Jane Eastwood. Filmed in Bayfield, Canada which is a very small town on the eastern shore of Lake Huron about 130 miles northeast of Detroit, MI. This might be the first of a trilogy and I would definitely take a chance on the next one.
