Mo 11/22/21
825am. 1240pm. 305pm.
Up 730am: At 630am Buddy was howling and I gave him some dry food and he let me sleep late. Thanks Bud! Mostly sunny and cold with temps only to 40.

The guy next door and Bob/Carol have raked their leaves and my lawn won't be done until next Monday.
***Power went out at 955am. A loud boom and then blackness...The 'Usual Suspects'- The Squirrels... I went for a walk and I don't know how long the power was off. I called to report the outage from the northwest corner of Washington Park about fifteen minutes into the walk. I'm not getting an Internet connection on the phone unless it's wifi. The phone settings must be off, but I don't even know how to ask the question. A trip to the Xfinity store?
1015am: Parkview, Wash. Pk. northside, Walnut, Leland, Douglas, Outer Park, Wiggins, Wash. Pk., up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...TWO HOURS...Listened to 99.1 FM about the Rittenhouse Trial. Was he attacked by a blood-thirsty mob or were the protestors trying to disarm a homegrown terrorist? 'Equal Force' rule for self-defense was totally unclear. If a man attacks you with his fists you cannot respond with a knife or a gun because this would not be judged as an 'equal force' defense.
Watched 'JOE BELL' (Hoopla).
Watched 'JOE BELL' (Hoopla).
1250pm: Restarted the film. A man walks from Oregon to NYC to heighten awareness to Stop Bullying. His son committed suicide because the people in his school and town couldn't accept the fact that he was different. The film is not presented in chronological order yet it's an effective way of telling the story. In the first section of the film the dead boy interacts with his father along the trek, but it's only dad hallucinating and it's not apparent to the viewer. It's a little jarring, but I suppose this was to highlight the broken relationship between father and son; with Mark Wahlberg, Connie Britton, and Gary Sinise. Co-written by Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry who also wrote 'BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN'.
I found another film also by Reinaldo Marcus Green called 'MONSTERS AND MEN' and I'm going to see if I can get it to play on Kanopy. After a few minutes it 'paused', and then it worked flawlessly through the end of the film. I logged on with 'Oh, ya don't (first letter caps) '@' zip' instead of using Google Chrome login. Maybe that made a difference.
Three lives are impacted by a police shooting on the streets of Queens; the guy that filmed it, a patrol cop with trepidations, and a high school kid whose ticket out of the neighborhood is his baseball scholarship. Won 5 awards and 9 nominations. It's Reinaldo Marcus Green's first film and he's a director to watch.
5pm: On the treadmill...TWO MILES AT 3.6 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and listened to a vintage SKEPTIC TANK.
In the tub with 'FUZZ' and listening to TEARS FOR FEARS.
I wrote a 'Late Chat Wrap'. Janny sent a text that Thanksgiving will be at Jamie's and I should report at 1pm on Thursday.
I began Season 2 of 'IMPOSTERS' (Netflix). I watched the complete first episode and fifteen minutes left on episode 2 for tomorrow.
***Thanksgiving will be at Jon and Whitney's in Sherman. I thought the text said Jamie's house, but I just misread it.
