Tu 11/23/21- The Belzer Letter

 Tu 11/23/21

920am. 1150am (a hit). 830pm.

Up 710am: Bright and sunny with temps to upper 40's.

***I forgot to check the mail last night and when I looked this morning I got a letter from Jan Belzer... after fifty years....Also got 'PROVINCES OF NIGHT' by William Gay from Amazon.

Watched 'FREE RIDE' (Amazon Prime). In late 70's Ohio a young woman with two daughters became involved in a large-scale cannabis smuggling operation out of Florida (Based on a True Story). The theme is that if there are no legal or acceptable economic safety nets, then you bend your moral code to navigate the situation and questionable decision-making may result..."Ya gotta do what ya gotta do for your kids and your family"; with Anna Paquin. I liked this way more than the 'Metascore of 41' and Paquin was very believable as the 'ethically fluid' protagonist/heroine.

Then I watched the next episode of 'THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE' (Amazon Prime).

1250pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for the treadmill.

105pm: TWO MILES AT 3.6 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and watched 'BREAKING POINTS ' about the Rittenhouse Case and began J.R.E with TIM POOL.

Reading 'FUZZ' on couch

***In 'Connections', 'Mobile Usage', 'Mobile Data'- leave 'Off' and it will connect to hotspots when you are out and about. Turn 'On' if no Hotspot is available and need the Internet.

5pm: On the treadmill...TWO MILES AT 3.6 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and more of TIM POOL on J.R.E.

In the tub with 'FUZZ' and listening to PINK FLOYD, LEO KOTTKE.

***Stumbled onto some old YouTube videos of Joey Diaz and his love for cats. I wouldn't have thought that he was a cat person. Stay Black!

Watched 'JOHN & YOKO: Above Us Only Sky (Netflix).  John just wants to be a 'regular guy'. He's weary and tired, but not so much with 'The Beatles' as a band but he's sick and tired of being a 'Beatle'.

He and Yoko were legitimate soul mates and he changed completely after he met her.

The heart of the film is the making of the song 'IMAGINE and he gives Yoko co-credit for writing the song.

Yoko shot the album cover for 'IMAGINE' by superimposing John's face with a cloud in the sky. This was a double exposure using a Polaroid camera.
