9am. 1130am (a pinch). 1250pm (a pinch). 735pm.
Up 715am: Canker sore is still a problem. Partly sunny and breezy with temps to the mid 60's!
I was looking through my returned queue at Netflix (discs) and noticed a film that I don't remember watching from mid November. 'EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE' is on Kanopy, so it's first up for today.
'EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE' (Kanopy). I know that I haven't seen this one before because something would have stuck. A taut thriller about a psychiatrist who turns the tables and reveals his most compelling secrets to a young suicidal female patient. He does it to get her to open up, trust him, and 'cap the shame'. His questionable plan backfires when the patient's boyfriend takes his revenge; with Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Claflin, Veronica Ferres, and India Eisley. Shot in Vancouver, British Columbia and Seattle, Washington.

***No hang-ups or transmission problems with Kanopy. I hope they got the problem resolved or maybe traffic is down due to Xmas Eve.
I began 'EMPTY METAL' (Kanopy- Still having 'hang-up' issues).
Begin at 38". Almost a student film, but it does aim high in the weirdness department.
1230pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing to walk downtown to mail the letter to ATT Benefits.
1pm: Downtown to the MONROE PO via Governor/ Edwards/ around the Old Capitol, and through the northside of the golf course both ways...2 HOURS...JAMES BROWN anthology, 91.9 FM.
Read 'THE HISTORY OF DISEASE' on the couch.
430pm: 2 MILES AT 3.6 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and finished ARI SHAFFIR on Whiskey Ginger.
530pm: In the tub with more 'HISTORY OF DISEASE' and listening to THE VANILLA FUDGE; PETE BROWN- 'Thousands On A Raft'. This one qualifies for a true 'overlooked' classic.
***630pm: Internet dropped off while I was in the tub, it came back, but only 6.12 mbps download speed. Might have to watch a disc later. Too much Internet traffic?
***710pm: On The downstairs PC I'm back to 112 mbps download speed. I wonder what that was?
Watched 'A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR CHRISTMAS' (Netflix). Harold needs a Christmas tree to replace the one that Kumar destroyed. Crazy mayhem ensues: they get a three year old high on pot, cocaine, and molly, Harold's dick gets frozen to a pole, and Santa gets shot in the head, but lives to smoke a bong on his way back to the North Pole. Another solid entry in the 'Stoner Film Genre'; with Kal Penn, John Cho, Neil Patrick Harris, Patton Oswalt, and Danny Trejo.
