830am. 1135am (a pinch). 140pm. 740pm.
Up 7am: Low 50's and cloudy with rain predicted for late this afternoon and tonight.
The canker sore on my tongue is slightly better, but I still had to use Anbesol many times last night.
Watched 'DON'T LOOK UP' (Netflix). I haven't laughed this hard at a movie in ages. The film is a broad and exaggerated sendup of Climate Deniers, Political Partisans, Anti-Vaxxers, Social Justice Warriors, and all the insights of the 'True Believer Class' that infect and pollute our social/news media landscape; with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Tyler Perry, Mark Rylance, Timothee Chalamet, Ron Perlman, and Ariana Grande..."I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers"- Jack Handey... "Everything is theoretically impossible until it's done"...I think 'The Arizona Republic' hit the nail on the head with this review: "This is a stunningly accurate portrayal of our current climate. And it’s not pretty".
Watched 'TWO' (Netflix). A couple of strangers (man and woman) awake, naked and sewn together. Who, What, Why, Where, When?
1pm: I cut off the movie with 30" left to go so that I could do the Weekly Cleaning. Then to Planet Fitness and finally to Dollar General for Friskies, oatmeal, peanut butter.
155pm: To Planet Fitness...45" Cross. 45" Treadmill. 30" Bike. 30" Treadmill. 30"Cross and watched an episode of 'FBI FILES ' (AMAZON PRIME), and ARI SHAFFIR on THEO VAN'S podcast. Up the hill for 7 cans of Friskies, peanut butter, grits, and oatmeal: $12.550pm: In the tub with 'DISEASE AND HISTORY' and listening to LIVE JEFFERSON AIRPLANE; MOBY GRAPE.

***'You Are Not A Capitalist- You Are An Exploited Worker With Stockholm Syndrome".
Watched 'THE INVITATION' (Kanopy). A young couple are invited to a dinner party in the Hollywood Hills, and 'something is going on, but you don't know what it is...'. Murder and mayhem at all of the houses with the red lanterns. I had seen this before, but remembered very little- except the final reveal. The film is a kind of a contemporary, yet much more foreboding, reiteration of the theme of the old Twilight Zone episode, 'Monsters Are Due on Maple Street'. Won 4 awards and nominated for 15 others.
The film played without a single 'hang-up'. Maybe Kanopy has fixed the problem or signing into the site without going through Google actually has a positive effect.
