Up 715am: Partly sunny and breezy with temps to mid 40's.

Watched 'IN THE SHADOW OF THE MOON' (Netflix). Another Time Travel themed film and barely worth the effort required to follow along. Lots of smoke and mirrors, but granddad saves his granddaughter so that she can save the world...or something; with Boyd Holbrook, Cleopatra Coleman, Bokeem Woodbine, and Michael C. Hall. Set in Philadelphia, but shot in Ontario, Canada.  

***Large 'boom' at 1135am. and even louder than when the power is interrupted by a squirrel. This made the national news and it was confirmed that it was a jet breaking the sound barrier. What was not covered....Is this unusual for jets to break the sound barrier. Why did the jet this morning break the sound barrier?  And is there any regulation? They said he 'course corrected'. What does that mean?

Around noon I got an email from Janny saying that Xmas has been canceled. Jon tested positive for Covid and he's never been vaccinated. Both Janny and Joe were around all of Jon's family last week and they are wondering what's down the road for both of them. 

Added a John Coltrane and Jabberjaw to the Mp3 player. 

1230pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk to the credit union for the Xmas cash.

***1245pm: RED EMERGENCY ALERT? They said the boom might have been a meteor or a jet breaking the sound barrier.  They lead with 'meteor'? 

1255pm: Across Monroe, behind Monroe Apartments, in front of FitClub West, Rickhard, Woodbine to Isles, Heartland;  $150, Cherry,  Golf, Parkview, and down to 940...ONE HOUR AND 50 MINS...JABBERJAW anthology, JACO PASTORIUS. 

Reading 'MAKES ME WANNA HOLLER' on the couch. 

530pm: On the treadmill for TWO MILES AT 3.6 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and listened to more of JEWEL on J.R.E.

In the tub and back to 'COTTON COMES TO HARLEM ' and listening to HANK MOBLEY.

Got an email from Janny and Jon seems to be experiencing flu-like symptoms and I hope that the worst of it is behind him. The worst part is that he scheduled his two week vacation and now he's quarantined in their spare bedroom.  
Watching Theo Von on Whiskey Ginger and Mark Normand on Theo Von's 'This Past Weekend'. 

Watched the first episode of 'SELLING TAMPA' (Netflix). All black female realty company working the 'high end' of Tampa real estate. Not nearly crazy enough.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
