(Approx.) 820am. 12pm (a pinch). 820pm.
Up 615am: Mostly cloudy with temps to about 32. We got about a half inch of powdery snow last night. The streets and lawns are all covered.
Watched 'JUST GO WITH IT' (Netflix). A plastic surgeon pretends to be married and divorced. His assistant/secretary pretends to be his ex so that the doc can have an affair (get married?) to a much younger woman. A silly premise and not a very good Adam Sandler film. He's best as the nerdy, needy guy that is full of repressed rage; with Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Brooklyn Decker, Nicole Kidman, Nick Swardson, Rachel Dratch, Dave Matthews (THE DAVE MATTHEWS BAND). Based on a French play and music by STING (THE POLICE).
1210pm: FIVE MILES AT 3.7 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and watched an hour documentary 'THE SECRET LIFE OF A CRUISE' (AMAZON PRIME) and more of JESSA REED on SKEPTIC TANK.
Set of weights
Read 'LONDON' on the couch and listened to 'silence'.
455pm: TWO MILES AT 3.7 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and more of SHAFFIR, NORMAND, and GILLIS on J.R.E.
545pm: In the tub with 'LONDON' and listening to HARVEY MANDEL. CHARLIE MUSSELWHITE.
I finished 'GRAND ISLE' (Plex-TV). The plot is not believable in the slightest, but it works if you don't take it too seriously. Filmed in Jackson, Louisiana. And then began 'MY NAME WAS BETTE: The Life and Death of an Alcoholic' (Amazon Prime). A clinical look at how alcoholic women differ from men; Ex. 9 out of 10 married women stay with an alcoholic man, but 9 out of ten men will leave an alcoholic spouse. And, the film profiles a woman from a religious, small town background in rural Massachusetts who died of the disease.
