Up 645am: Mostly sunny with temps to mid 30's.

Watched 'HEIST' (Netflix). One of two films that Janny recommended; HEIST and UNDER SUSPICION and both were well worth a look. A 'heist genre film' that's more concerned with intelligence and planning than car chases or gunplay and nobody can deliver snappier patter than David Mamet; with Gene Hackman, Danny DeVito, Delroy Lindo, Rebecca Pidgeon, Ricky Jay, and Sam Rockwell.   "He's so cool that when he goes to sleep the sheep count him". "...And if he had had another bible in front of his face, he would have been alive today".

Then, more of 'ARCHIVE 81' (Netflix). There are witches at the Visser!

1240pm: Preparing for a walk on the treadmill.

 110pm:  FIVE MILES AT 3.9 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and watched GILBERT GOTTFRIED on J.R.E, part of a JOEY'S JOINT, and more of ALAN DUNN.

Read 'KENTUCKY HAM' on the couch and listened to a bunch of KING CRIMSON.

445pm: TWO MILES AT  3.9 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and watched more of 'ARCHIVE 81' (NETFLIX).

 545pm: In the tub with 'KENTUCKY HAM' and listening to ADRIAN BELEW;  ROBERT FRIPP.

Watched the Netflix disc 'NEVER RARELY SOMETIMES ALWAYS'.  A young and pregnant seventeen year old and her cousin travel from rural Pennsylvania to NYC for an abortion.  Dreamlike and mesmerizing- you can't take your eyes off the screen; with Sidney Flanigan and Talia Ryder. 28 wins & 118 nominations. 92 Metascore on IMDB.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
