835am. 11am (a pinch). 1235pm. 450pm (2 hits- 1 hitter). 740pm.

Up 7am: Partly sunny with temps to low 30's.

Posted 'RABBIT IS RICH' by John Updike and 'KENTUCKY HAM' by William Burroughs Jr. to the blog.

Watched Netflix disc 'MY SALINGER YEAR'. A touching and heartwarming story that celebrates the love of books, personal integrity, and the 'business of fiction writing'. It's about a young woman who wants to be a writer but learns that being a literary agent is not the same thing as writing. She needs to change her life's direction to reclaim her inner voice and 'Jerry' Salinger helps her to tackle that challenge; with Margaret Qualley and Sigourney Weaver. I really liked it, but I could see how some critics disliked the film because they felt that it was an overly romantic portrayal of the commercialization of literature.

Then more of 'ARCHIVE 81' (Netflix).

1150am: Shut it down to do the Weekly Cleaning and then head to Planet Fitness.

1245pm:  To Planet Fitness. 45" Cross.  45" Treadmill.  30" Bike.  30" Treadmill.  30" Cross and watched 'BENT' (AMAZON PRIME). A 'B-Movie' police/thriller , and part of a J.R.E and a SKEPTIC TANK from Austin, TX.

To the General Dollar up the hill; 12 of diet Mt.Dew/Triscuits: $8.55.

450pm:  In the tub for the last 6 pages of KENTUCKY HAM and begin 'GONE FOR GOOD' by Harlan Coben and listening to FREE; JACK BRUCE; DICK HECKSTALL-SMITH.

Watched 'FILM SOCIALISME' (Kanopy). I watched just over an hour and still had no idea what it was about... A cruise ship... a gas station in France... Egypt... denied entry to Israel... Moscow...Jean-Luc Godard lost me on this one. "...the film manages to be both strident and elusive, argumentative and opaque." On the bright side, I didn't have a single problem with Kanopy streaming.

Then the first episode of 'THE WOMAN IN THE HOUSE ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE GIRL IN THE WINDOW' (Netflix). Somewhat entertaining and I'll watch more. The half hour segments are a nice length.

And then began 'HEAVENLY BITES: MEXICO- Micheladas' (Netflix).  They use beer as the base and then spice it up with candy, meat, shrimp, Clamato, and almost anything else lying around. It's supposed to be tasty and also a reliable hangover cure.
