Watched 'THE MAN FROM NOWHERE' (Tubi-TV: I tried to watch it on Plex-TV but the subtitles were in Korean).  A sex worker steals a package of dope from her pimp. In retaliation he kills her and sells her organs on the black market. A mysterious neighbor intervenes to save the woman's young daughter. A very well-shot and exciting Korean gangster film. 18 wins & 17 nominations.

1230pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to get a free car wash at Green on the way to Planet Fitness. 

***I had to delete/ reinstall my Netflix phone app. Then it worked flawlessly. 

1255pm Green/ Planet Fitness and on the machines by 120 pm. 45" Cross.  45" Treadmill.  30" Bike.  30" Treadmill.  30"Cross. Watched 'UNPRESCRIBED (80"- AMAZON PRIME)- Vets want weed instead of  the Veterans Administration's opioid drugs, more of a BERTCAST, and a SKEPTIC TANK. 

 530pm: In the tub with CHUCK HOGAN and listening to FREDDIE HUBBARD; CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY,  'Breaking Points'. 

Watched 'SONS OF PERDITION' (Plex-TV).  The film is a documentary about the teenage boys and girls who leave Warren Jeffs' "polygamous cult/ Latter Day Saints".  The kids are most definitely rough around the edges and they drink and do drugs because they feel that they've already committed the worst infraction of them all-  banishment from their families. Because of their fractured family relationships two of the boys were not even accepted by the Army. At the Latter Day Saints school the only subjects taught are Math and Religion.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
