Up 7am: We got about an inch of snow last night. The streets are covered (Westview, at least) and not quite enough to cover the grass. Today it's cloudy with temps in the mid 30's.

Buddy seems to be in fine shape.

Watched 'UNDER SUSPICION' (Netflix). On the island of Puerto Rico a wealthy and influential man is interrogated about the rape and murder of two 13 year old girls.  Nearly all of the screen time is devoted to the interrogation and it sure seems like he did it, but what he revealed about his life and his marriage was far worse. The man makes a full confession just as the real killer and rapist is captured. He and his wife walk away and it seems like their lives together are at an end; with Morgan Freeman, Gene Hackman, Thomas Jane, and Monica Bellucci.  Morgan Freeman and Gene Hackman were the executive producers.  Interesting Presentation: During the questioning at the station, both the captain and the magnate are shown to interact as if they were at the scene of the crime when it was happening.

***1145am: Janny called to tell me that Joe tested positive for COVID today and I could have been exposed last Saturday. Jamie completed his biopsy and no results yet.  I have no symptoms and I hope this is just a false alarm. She told me that you have to be referred by a doctor to get a COVID test. 

1225pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill. 

1235pm: FIVE MILES AT 3.8 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and watched the next episode of 'ARCHIVE 81 ' (Netflix). 

ONE SET OF WEIGHTS 

Finished 'RABBIT IS RICH' on the couch and began 'KENTUCKY HAM'.

450pm: TWO MILES AT 3.9 PACE (increase) AND 0.50 SLANT and watched STEVE RANNAZZISI on SKEPTIC TANK .

545pm: In the tub with 'KENTUCKY HAM' by William Burroughs Jr. and listening to ERIC DOLPHY. 

Finished the last episode of 'OZARK' (Netflix). Season 4 ends with a bang and I found out that Season 4 will have seven more episodes and it should be dropped some time in 2022. Can't wait to see Ruth's revenge for the killings of her brother and his new 'older' wife. 

And I started 'AZIZ ANSARI: Nightclub Comedian' at the Comedy Cellar, NYC last December.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
