805am. 1145am (a pinch. Lost most of it because the closable 1 hitter has issues). 140pm (a pinch). 750pm. 

Up 630am: Bright and breezy with temps in the teens early to low 40's by afternoon.

Tried to watch  'ANNETTE' (Amazon Prime). It's an opera, so I'll save for a later date...maybe.

Switched to 'HAND OF GOD' (Netflix). An Italian Art Film set in scenic Naples of the early 80's. A young man seeks change as his family goes through a transformation as well. His sexy aunt loses her mind because she can't have children, his parents die at home from a natural gas leak, he loses his virginity to The Baroness, and everyone can't believe that a legendary football star has agreed to play for Naples. Visually exciting and worth the accolades; 8 wins & 17 nominations.

1130am: PC is 'Off' and will walk on the treadmill...again. It's been so long that I've walked outside that the next time I'll need a map.

***3.7 is the new pace and this morning I walked 5.25 miles.

 1150am:  FIVE AND A QUARTER MILES AT 3.7 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT  and finished Dr. Robert Malone on J.R.E. and more of BERT KREISCHER and JOEY DIAZ. 

Cleaned the bong..."Putting out the fires with gasoline "...

Finished reading 'THE R. CRUMB HANDBOOK' on the couch; listening to Amazon Music. 

450pm: TWO MILES AT 3.7 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and began a SKEPTIC TANK with SARAH TOLLEMACHE 

545pm: In the tub to begin 'THE BLOOD ARTISTS' by CHUCK HOGAN and listening to THE YARDBIRDS; SAVOY BROWN.

Watched 'FAITH BASED' (Amazon Prime). The film concerns a couple of guys who are trying to make a 'good quality' Christian movie that transforms into a clever spoof on Christian people. Very low-budget and some of the songs were absolutely side-splitting.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
