Up 630am: Cloudy to sunny with high temps only in the upper teens.

***At 7am. a plow went up and down Westview Drive and this has been the most plowing I've ever seen on Westview.

Watched 'A HERO' (Amazon Prime). A poor Iranian man is in jail because of his debts and while on a short leave from prison he finds a handbag with seventeen gold coins. Instead of using the coins to pay off his debt and gain his freedom, he decides to return the purse, however the woman he gives it to is a thief. His act of 'attempted' kindness ruins his reputation and he goes back to prison. The film is deliberately ambiguous and the theme is more complicated than just "No good deed goes unpunished." 11 wins and 31 nominations and directed by Asghar Farhadi.

12pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill. Tired today.

1215pm: FIVE MILES AT 3.9 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and watched an episode of  'THE FBI FILES' (AMAZON PRIME). An Austrian True Crime author and lecturer is revealed to be one of Austria's first serial killers. The FBI becomes involved when he begins killing prostitutes in Los Angeles. And I began another JOEY'S JOINT. 

Weight set: Added  2 1/2 lbs. last night.

Finished  'GONE FOR GOOD' (Harlan Coben) and began 'WE CAN BUILD YOU' (P.K. Dick) on the couch. 

450pm: TWO MILES AT 3.9 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and more of JOEY'S JOINT. 

545pm: In the tub with PK DICK and listening to FREDDY HUBBARD/ WOODY SHAW; CACTUS. 

More of 'GIDEON'S CRADLE' (Netflix).  Wilder and wilder and I have 12 episodes to go.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
