Up 635am: Light rain showers early then cloudy, breezy with temps to about 50.

Watched the Netflix disc 'ALONE'. This is a remake of the Swedish film. "FORSVUNNEN'. A woman is leaving her home and traveling north with her possessions in a U-haul. She meets a stranger in an SUV and mayhem ensues. An incredible sense of foreboding and apprehension is present in nearly every minute of the film. Something very bad is going to happen. Filmed near Mr. Hood in Oregon- 50 miles east of Portland; with Jules Willcox and Marc Menchaca.

Watched 'UNREST' (Netflix). Basically it's a plea for more research so that a cure can be found for this very real condition. In Sweden 'Chronic Fatigue' is seen only as a mental disease and a sufferer can be forcibly removed from their home because guardians 'falsely' promote the belief that it is a physical problem and this is what is making them sick. 

The postman (not our usual guy) picked up the discs so I won't have to walk outside today. It looks too raw and bleak anyway. 

1230pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill. 

1pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.0 SLANT and began STEVEN E. kOONIN on J.R.E., more of PAUL MCCARTNEY on WTF.

505pm: In the tub with 'LAWRENCE BLOCK' and listening to ORLANDO JULIUS- excellent Nigerian Rock/Funk/Soul.

Watched 'INTERVIEW WITH A HITMAN' (Amazon Prime). A Romanian hitman is having a video tape record made of his career as 'a button man'. He's a cold-blooded and stone cold killer, but his girlfriend has set him up to die and the video photographer has got to go too. Filmed in and around Newcastle City Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne and Bucharest Romania. Another 'B-Movie' that's worth a look, but didn't leave a lasting impression.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
