840am. 1120am (2 hits/bong). 1235pm. 740pm.
Up 640am: Partly sunny, breezy with temps to about 50.
***A violent thunderstorm rolled through last night about 1030pm and this morning all of the gum balls were back on the front lawn and street. And another torrential downpour is on tap for tonight.
Watched the last two episodes of 'PIECES OF HER' (Netflix). A melodramatic and crazy tale and it seemed like the ending was a tease for another season. But, unless season 1 is 'wildly popular', it probably won't and Karin Slaughter says that the book is 'in capable hands' whatever happens.
Began 'LIES AND DECEIT' (Netflix). He said, she said. I'll be bingeing on this one this afternoon at Planet Fitness.
1225pm: PC is 'Off' and planning an afternoon workout at Planet Fitness. Later, stop for cottage cheese and canned soda.
1245pm: 45" Cross. 45" Treadmill. 30"Bike. 30" Treadmill. 30" Cross, watched more of 'LIES AND DECEIT' (NETFLIX), JOE LIST on 'Honeydew', and MARK NORMAND on THEO VON.
Stopped at Schnucks for cottage cheese and diet ginger ale. Then to the Heartland drop box to deposit a $300 dental rebate from Aetna.
5pm: In the tub and finished 'THE SOCIOPATH NEXT DOOR', then began 'FALLEN' by KARIN SLAUGHTER and listening to CACTUS; THE FLAMING LIPS.
Watched 'RESTLESS' (Netflix). A bent cop runs over a man on a deserted highway. He thinks that he killed the pedestrian, but another crooked cop from the narcotics division had shot the guy. A nifty French noir film
Watched 'THREE SONGS FOR BENAZIR'(Netflix). An interesting twenty-five minute documentary about a young man in an Afghan displacement camp who would like to join the army so that he can make a life for himself, his wife, and soon to be born son. Instead, he works the opium fields and four years later is in a drug rehab facility.
