Up 630am: Light showers between 8am-9am and windy and cloudy for the rest of the day with temps to the upper 40's.

Watched 'TURISTAS' (Amazon Prime). A group of young tourists in Brazil discover a remote vacation paradise that turns out to be a front for a crazed organ harvest operation. The first half hour was great and it was downhill from there and includes (inexplicably?) lots of action in underwater caverns during the finale. Filmed in Ubatuba, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. About 225 miles south of Rio de Janeiro along the coast; with Josh Duhamel, Mesissa George, and Olivia Wilde.

Then I watched 'THE HOURS AND TIMES' (Kanopy). An hour film that offers a possible account of the vacation trip that John Lennon and Brian Epstein took to Barcelona, Spain in April of 1963. Lennon was married to Cynthia and she had just had a baby and the trip had already been booked. The fact that Epstein was gay caused many to speculate that Brian and John were lovers. Who knows what really happened.

1210pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and watched the pilot of a terrible Netflix series ' HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER' with Viola Davis and a video of MATT TAIBBI on The rich/poor division in the legal system.

Watched 'THE BOMBARDMENT' (NETFLIX). During the last year of WWII British air forces target Nazi headquarters in downtown Copenhagen, Denmark. One of the Allied planes mistakenly bombs a Catholic girls school and this is their story. An intensely gripping drama and an interesting subplot concerning trauma and the effects on children.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
