Borrowed 2 from Hoopla: 'THE GOOD DOCTOR' and 'ANGELS OF THE SUN'.

Watched 'THE GOOD DOCTOR' (Hoopla). A young resident doctor becomes enthralled with a high school patient and fiddles with her meds so that she must come back to the hospital for treatment. Things get way out of hand and in the end, he's able to get away with two murders. This was a very low-key and subtle film about a doctor who has no moral compass and abuses his position and the film makes no attempt to defend or reject his lack of ethics. I liked this one a lot more than I thought I would; with Orlando Bloom, Riley Keough, Taraji P. Henson, Michael Pena, and J.K. Simmons. 

More of 'THE 7 LIVES OF LEA' (Netflix). I'll save the final episode for Planet Fitness later this afternoon.

1230pM: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a Wabash Workout.

***Since late last  winter Chatham Rd. has been one lane between Old Jacksonville and Cherry. They just did minor work on the cracks and potholes and it wasn't any improvement whatsoever and they might as well have paid to merely power wash the street. Today, they had the orange cones back and crews are black topping all of the affected areas. For me this is a giant plus because that section of Chatham Rd. is my 'main street'. 

1pm: To Planet Fitness. 45" Cross.  45" Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross  and I finished 'THE 7 LIVES OF LEA' (NETFLIX), watched 3 out of 4 episodes of  'MELTDOWN : 3 MILE ISLAND'. 

Stopped for a 30pk of Busch Light at Schnucks/Montvale.

510pm: In the tub with 'THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY' and listening to DAEVID ALLEN; HENRY COW; PERE UBU.

Watched part of a YouTube interview with JIMMY PAGE from 11/ 2014.

Watched 'ANGELS OF THE SUN' (Hoopla).  This low-budget Brazilian film offers an inside look into one of the poorest and most poverty stricken brothels on the face of the earth. Parents sell their young girls to the flesh merchants because they honestly believe that they are giving them a better life.  10 wins & 22 nominations. Filmed in Bahia, Brazil and Rio de Janeiro.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
