Up 6am: Violent storms rolled through the area beginning about 4am and 3/4 of an inch fell according to the rain gauge. Rain ending later this morning but temps only to upper 80's. 

Watched 'HUMBOLDT COUNTY' (Hoopla). A medical student with an overbearing father finds himself in the 'cannabis country' of Humboldt, California and makes some major life changes; with Jeremy Strong, Fairuza Balk, Peter Bogdanovich, Brad Dourif, and Chris Messina. The film is more than a little overwrought, but still worth a look. Filmed near Eureka, California.

Began the first episode of 'INTIMACY' (Netflix). Filmed in Bilbao, Spain- capital of 'Basque Country. Gave up on this one later.

11am: PC is 'Off' and will read for a while and the plan is to hit Planet Fitness later this afternoon.

445pm:  In the tub with HOAG and listening to BERNARD PURDIE; 'Savage Young Du'- HUSKER DU.

Watched 'SPEED OF LIFE' (Kanopy). A small film with a 'time travel' theme and happens on the day David Bowie died in 2016 and then years later in 2040. I was more confused than enchanted. Here's the storyline from IMDB:

"In 2016, June (Allison Tolman) and Edward (Ray Santiago) are having a disagreement about David Bowie's death and its effect on their relationship when he suddenly disappears in a flash of light. Twenty-four years later in the year 2040, June lives alone next door to friend Samuel (Jeff Perry), still mourning the loss of Edward. Since the state institutionalized everyone after their 60th birthday and since she's nearly 60, she and her neighbor are planning to flee to Mexico to escape confinement when suddenly still-youthful Edward reappears the same way he disappeared. Will she still leave with Samuel, or stay and reunite with Edward, despite their age difference?" 

Then I watched a little bit of 'THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS' (Peacock) while I did the weights. I'm still getting Peacock TV through Xfinity.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
